Background

All children have rights, no matter where they are or whether they are moving from one place to another.

Children also have the right to express their thoughts, feelings, and experiences, and to participate in decisions that affect their lives.

This platform is a safe space for you to tell your story about migration, learn about your rights, and connect with other young people.

The Migration Learning Series was created to help children and youth across ASEAN understand their rights and share their real-life experiences.

We are inviting children and youth aged up to 24 to take part in this online survey, which was co-designed with young leaders.

Please share your journey and story through creative form of expression, like a poem, story, drawing or painting.

Your stories and recommendations will inform the Midterm Review of the ASEAN Regional Plan of Action on Children in the Context of Migration.

This initiative is supported through the PROTECT programme, funded by the European Union, to address challenges that children may face during migration.

UNICEF and World Vision International, together with its partners, want to make sureyour voice is heard and matters.

Please join and take the survey!

Share Your Stories Through Art: Migration Through Your Eyes

These paintings were created by children and youth during the Young Minds CAMP (Child-led Actions, Mobilizations and Partnerships) in Bangkok (June 2025). Their artworks show real experiences of migration—stories of courage, memories from home, challenges they faced, and hopes for a safer, kinder world.

Learn more about Young Minds CAMP.

Now, we invite YOU to share your own voice in any way you choose - through a painting, drawing, photo, poem, short essay, or any creative piece that expresses your story or feelings about migration.

You can include: Your nickname, age and country. This space is for children and youth to express their lived experiences, feelings, and dreams about migration. Your story matters — and we want to help you share it.

Drop your creation here and be part of our growing gallery of young voices!
